Immaculate Kitty (cleansing blend)
This blend is intended for women with longer cycles 28 days or longer, missing or stagnant periods, or brown blood (a sign of stagnation). This blend helps to promote natural detoxification, the return of missing periods, and improve overall menstrual health. It is also a great option for regular steaming maintenance.
If you are also prone to reoccurring vaginal infections, for best results, alternate with our Streamlined Cookie (disinfecting) blend .
General Use:
For general maintenance, steam one to two times a week, never steaming while on your period. Stop steaming at least 3–4 days before your next expected period.
Organic ingredients:
lemon or orange peel, motherwort, nettles, lavender
How to use your yoni steam blend
For a more comfortable, consistent, and uninterrupted steam session, the Tenderyoni steam chair is designed to:
Hold heat longer, even without a heat source.
Work with a hot plate, allowing continuous warmth instead of cooling off mid-session.
Provide safety, comfort and support, without kneeling, squatting or balancing over your steam.
Give you up to 30 minutes of steady, therapeutic steam, unlike traditional setups where the steam fades quickly.
1.) Set up your Tenderyoni steam chair, according to it's instructions, for best results
2.) Preparing your herbs
- Boil filtered water in a stainless steel or glass pot. A 2 quart pot will work well. To avoid toxins leaching into your water, never steam out of plastic, aluminum or pots coated with non stick surfaces.
- Add your yoni steam herbs and boil for 5–10 minutes, with the lid on. Make sure to leave a tiny opening, so the pot doesn't boil over.
- If boiling on the stove, remove from heat, let it cool slightly, and always test the temperature before steaming. If using a hot plate with your steam chair, turn the heat down to a warm setting, allowing your heat to cool, but maintain a constant, comfortable steam. Never sit over hot steam. your steam should be warm and comfortable.
- If you are steaming without a chair, wrap your pot or bowl in a towel to avoid burns ans place on the floor. After allowing the herbs to cool, squat or kneel over them, using pillows on each side of your pot, to cushion your knees. Use a chair or couch to rest on for support.
- Drape your lower half in a sheet, or wear a long skirt to keep the warmth of your steam from escaping to quickly. Wear socks to keep your feet warm and promote circulation
- If you have a cycle 27 days or shorter, steam for 10-12 minutes, per session.
- If you have a cycle 28 days or longer, or a missing period, steam for 20-30 minutes, per session.
- If you are a first time steamer, steam for 10-15 minutes. Adjust your steam time gradually, by 5 minutes per session, until you've reached the appropriate steam session length for your cycle.
